Prohibited content
Do not use paste1 to publish, host, or distribute any of the following:
- Content that is illegal in the jurisdiction where the service is operated.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or content that sexualises minors in any form. We report such content to the relevant authorities.
- Malware, viruses, ransomware, or code whose primary purpose is to compromise systems or accounts the publisher does not own.
- Phishing kits, credential-harvesting forms, or content designed to deceive users into revealing secrets.
- Doxxing — unauthorised personal information of private individuals, including home addresses, government IDs, or unpublished phone numbers.
- Spam, link-farms, SEO sludge, or commercial content unrelated to the paste use case.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights where you are not the rightsholder or do not have permission.
Reporting
Use the Report button on any paste to flag a violation. Include the reason and any context that helps us triage. Reports are reviewed manually.
Takedown
Confirmed violations are purged. Repeat or egregious violations result in author-account termination and IP-block. We respond to valid legal takedown notices served on the deployment operator.
Security research
Pasting proof-of-concept code for security research is allowed when the target is a system you own or are authorised to test, and the paste is not weaponised against third parties.
